After all players have received their 2 hole cards, a round of betting begins. This is initiated by a mandatory bet placed into the pot by the players to the left of the button. These bets are called the blinds and help create a pot to play for.<\/p>\n
After the first round of betting, one player is designated as the dealer, and they shuffle and deal the cards to each player in turn. The player to the right of the dealer must offer the shuffled cards for a cut, and they have the option to cut more than once.
