The movie is more of a narrative than Goodfellas and is much more accessible to the average viewer. The film features many classic songs that bode well with the action of the movie and the acting is great. It is one of the best performances from DeNiro before his downward spiral that began with 1995’s Heat.

The security of a casino is one of its biggest concerns. The casino has to make sure that its patrons do not rob it or steal money. The casino’s security starts on the floor, with dealers having a close eye on their own games and the players at those games to spot any cheating or blatantly obvious mistakes. Table managers and pit bosses have a wider view of the tables, watching to see that no patron is stealing money from the table or attempting to win by marking or switching cards or dice.
